Dear Gibbons Family.. I stumbled across your site this morning and am so grateful that I did. Your family's story is validating to me just how important all our prayers are. I'm Native American and in our ceremonies we never forget to pray and give thanks for those that have gone on before us. And for those that are yet to be~ As a woman and a Mother, my prayers for all our babies will never stop~ And as a Mother that's lost two Spirit Babies before they could be born.. I know they're still with me and my son as our very own Angels~ Peace, Love and Blessings to you all

Update on Lauren. She is now 9 months old and her AFP levels continue to yo-yo. They are in the 130 range. The mass that they thought was scar tissue they suspect may contain more germ cells. They are going to do surgery on this site and hopes the caner is contained in that area. They are still holding off on chemo. I ask that who ever reads this to pray for baby Lauren's healing. Thank you, Stephanie(Lauren's mom)

Lauren's CT scan showed a 1 inch mass near the site of where her tumor was removed, it has grown since the last CT was done. Her oncologist feels that it is probably scar tissue, it may need to be removed. More bloodwork this week.

Laurens AFP levels are going up. Another CT scan and back to bi-weekly bloodwork. Please keep her in your prayers that the cancer/tumor has not returned.
