Desiree's tumor was malignant which was cancerous, the tumor weighed 888 grams. The Children's Hospital in Chicago Illinois gave me a pathology report after they removed the tumor, her tailbone, muscle from her right bottom, and a one foot of her intestine's. Did anyone of the SCT surviver's have the same as Diagnosis? Her AFP result's considered her in remission. Please let me know ASAP. Thank you I'm terrified her cancer can come back. Please help me.

Thank you for your candid website and story about your son. Our baby has just been diagnosed with SCT at 18 weeks, and we are in the referral process to Univ. of Michigan hospitals. God Bless you and your courageous family!

Your websight is wonderful and informative. I am assuming it is new since I did not come across it 18 months ago when my husband and I were doing research on SCTs. We delivered and lost our son Ian Michael on June 3, 2003. I was 26 weeks into our pregnancy. We were given no options or hope other than abortion. Doctors were of no help here in Atlanta. Your sight would have been very benneficial to us, and I hope that other parents find it also. Wishing you and your little one much happiness.

My daughter does not have SCT but Jade is a friend of mine and her daughter has it. I was curious to learn more about it so I asked her for some information on it. Elijah is truly an inspiration for all parents out there who are going through the same thing. By the way he's so adorable! Good luck with him!

This is a very informative positive site, thank you. My husband's cousin's wife is expecting her first child and the baby has been diagnosed with SCT at 20 weeks gestation. Prior to the diagnosis we had never heard of it. We are hoping for the best for them and now I know to pray for the tumor to shrink, stop growing and not be solid.

This is great. No one in our area has this going on and we did not find out untill Richard was delivered 8.5 mos ago. Now we are doing chemo and the holidays are hard. Thank you for the lack of isolation.
