My husband and I have a little boy who was born on the 9th of August 2005.He was born with a large SCT that weighed over 2lbs .He is well apart from a few minor problems ,we still see his surgeon regularly and cannot thank him enough for what he did for Luke as the prognosis was horrendouse

Hello there, I was diagnosed last week with SCT, my baby id only 13 weeks gestation. I have been thrown into a very scarey place and feel terrible about what might happen. I am also being encouraged to go down the termination route as I am a single mum: the father left. My email is: sue.ingham@mac.com if anyone would be prepared to share their stories. Sue x

Hello.
We are dealing with a SCT at the moment. The baby is being delivered on March 22/2010 in Hamilton ON via c-section.
I would really loved to talk to someone who had been through this. I feel like we are not getting a lot of answers from the Dr's. I would like to hear more survival stories. Elijah's story is so great, it gives me hope.
If there is anyone out there interested in sharing more info, i would really appreciate it.
thanks so much - amy

My daughter was just diagnosed yesterday with SCT. I am 20 weeks along and the tumor is already 4 to 5 cm. I am so happy to have stumbled across this site and to have read the positive stories. We are just hoping that we can get her to 34 weeks to give her the best chance possible.

Our baby was diagnosed at our 20 week scan which was very upsetting. He/She is now due to be born by ceserean in four weeks and I am looking forward to meeting baby very much. We found your site after the baby was diagnosed but was too upset to add comments. Now I would like to say the site it has been very helpful and very imformative and postive. Thanks
